Viking 52 Convertible - New Model

The 2015 52' Viking Convertible has joined Viking’s fleet of world-renowned blue-water tournament contenders!  This model evolves from the highly successful Viking 55 and 62 Convertibles, incorporating the latest treatments and engineering milestones that Viking has to offer.

This new convertible joins the fishing scene with a finely tuned resin infused hull and a running surface that is built for speed.  In addition, the sharpened entry and convex forward sections add buoyancy for knifing through head seas typically encountered offshore.  The V-bottom tapers aft to 12 degrees at the transom, utilizing horsepower efficiently for speed and maximum range.  Powered by optional MAN V12 1400 hp common rail diesel engines, she rips along at more than 40 knots.

Exceptional amenities, including Viking’s signature observation mezzanine, complete the 142-square-foot cockpit.  Command central, however, is at the flybridge where a center console helm station affords superb visibility, ample seating and rod and electronic stowage.  At the helm, custom designed high-speed rudders deliver agile maneuverability and outstanding response. 

In the salon, the nearly 18-foot beam provides plenty of volume, with an expansive walk-through galley, a large island and a comfortable dinette.  Three staterooms and two heads provide pleasant and spacious accommodations below.  Furnished with rich Juno teak joinery and furniture, the interior throughout the 52 Convertible is warm and inviting.

The three-stateroom, two-head layout (including laundry center) offers a choice of sleeping arrangements. The standard layout features crossover berths; the lower is a double bunk and the upper port side berth is a large single. A second plan that offers a custom queen berth is also available. On both versions, the master is fitted with a walk-around queen bed and a private head and shower. A third stateroom to port has upper and lower berths. The port and forward staterooms are separated by a shared head and shower. Ample storage is provided in the three staterooms with large maple-lined hanging lockers, credenzas, and deep drawer space, as well as storage beneath each bunk. A laundry center in the companionway is standard.

The salon is inviting and the area is well proportioned with a 17-ft. 6-in. beam.  Relaxing or entertaining is easy with an L-shape lounge, a home theater system and a dinette.  Amtico flooring complements the L-shape galley and an island fronted with a pair of bar stools. Rich Juno teak joinery and furniture throughout the yacht, along with custom designer furnishings, create a spectacular aura of refinement and luxury.
