1987 Sea Ray 265 SRV Introduced in 1985, the Sea Ray Sedan Bridge is a wide-beam flybridge cruiser whose blend of spacious accommodations, contemporary lines, and affordable price appealed to entry-level buyers looking for a lot of boat for the money. Designed primarily for the family market, she features an open, space-efficient floorplan with a full galley, a head with shower, and berths for as many as six. An angled double bed is fitted in the forward state- room (rather than V-berths), and both the dinette and salon sofa convert to into double berths. A lower helm was a popular option in the Sedan Bridge, although visibility is less than ideal. Three lift-out hatches in the cockpit floor provide good access to the engine compartment, and a transom door and swim platform were standard. Topside, the flybridge is arranged cruising-style with the helm forward and guest seating aft. Note that side-dumping exhausts keep noxious fumes out of the cockpit.
