Cal 25 Mk Ii

This Cal is a 27 footer in virtually every respect with its 9' beam and long waterline. Quality construction and Quality sailing ability properly describe the nature of Cal Boats. You'll notice that the mast looks to come from a 30 footer, and that the stability is more like a 7,500 lb boat than a 4,500 lb boat. Even in 25 knots of breeze the tiller remains very light- - light enough for a 6 year old to tiller. If you are thinking of a 22 to 27 by any other builder, make sure you investigate the Cal 25 and you'll likely decide that this is much better than any other choice new or used. She is COMFORTABLE and FAST. Can be sailed by one or six.

This Cal 25 has a brand new full blow epoxy barrier coat bottom job ($3000 in receipts) and NEW bottom paint. This is a roomy boat down below with lots of teak trim which is in good condition. The previous owner of this boat started some deck repairs on the top of the cabin house. Those repairs were not finished and are up to the new owner to carry out.
