Pilothouse Motorsailer
This is a very unique classic Pilothouse Motorsailer. Historical data indicates, that after a storm destroyed the family boat, Richard S. Perkins had Bill Harris of Concordia design a cruising motorsailer known as the Hurricane. This example of the Concordia "Hurricane" design was reputed to have been constructed with the finest hardwoods available, originally intended for the construction of minesweepers.
This boat is an example of a bygone era. The craftsmanship, materials, and design are just not found in today's production.
The owner is interested in finding someone that appreciates her heritage, will enjoy both sailing her, and who is interested in continuing the stewardship of this lovely craft.
