Alden Appledore

For sale is a 2004 Alden Appledore shell, used only four times. It can easily be converted into a two-person set-up, but works for one person as well. It has a classic, recognizable look, inherited from classic pea pod boats that have been rowed in New England waters for more than 200 years.

This Appledore is made of fiberglass and weighs just 90 pounds, and has a flag blue and varnished mahogany toe rail. There is plenty of room for more passengers, as well as gear.

This boat is quiet in the water and is fairly simple to row. The graceful lines and hourglass-shaped stern enables it to glide through the water, even in rougher conditions.

The asking price for this stable and versatile boat includes two sets of carbon fiber oars.
