Club Shamrock. Launched 1979 (built 1977).

‘Champagne’ was the ‘show boat’ at the Earls Court London Boat Show in 1978. As a result it has a higher standard of internal finish, with extra teak work, over many other ‘Shamrock’ models. Available: Full Ownership documents from build to current owner.

New in 2002 – YANMAR 2GM20, with new shaft, propeller, battery cables. Manual start handle. Handbook.

Low usage – day sailing; 1 trip Cork, Arklow, Greystones. New in 2002 – Fitted PSS Shaft Seal (mechanical seal, replaces traditional packing style Stern Gland).

Rigging:

Furlex Roller Reefing (Handbook available), controlled

from steering position. Stainless steel Forestay available.

Backstay with ‘Carne’ tension adjuster. S/steel shrouds.

Lazy Jack system for Main.

 Deck Gear:

Sufficient winches, deck jammers, jib and spinnaker tracks etc., with all controls led to cockpit, except main halyard (to winch on mast).

Cockpit:

Wheel steering, with mounted binnacle compass. Engine controls, manual bilge pump, main sheet traveller, large storage locker and gas bottle locker.

 Sails:

Main (battened). Genoa No. 1 cut and fitted for Roller Reefing. Genoa No. 1 Dacron (W&J 2000) only used for occasional racing. Jib 2/3. Jib 4. Storm Jib. Light weight Spinnaker. Star Cut Heavy weight Spinnaker.

 Electronics:

Power supplied through fused switch panel from

2 x 100ah Batteries (through Splitter unit).  Raytheon VHF Dual listening (handbook available). Navico Corus instruments - Depth/Speed; separated Speed; Wind speed/direction. Nav Lights – masthead/steaming/deck.

 Additional:

Emergency VHF aerial. Radar reflector. Fog horn. Life Ring with automatic light. 1 CQR 28lbs anchor, with chain and rope, in locker on foredeck. 1 Fisherman kedge anchor. 4 Fenders. Sheets – Jib. Spinnaker, heavy and light.
