The Nautica RIB Catamaran is the boat of choice for rescue personnel. Their hulls are unique: Rigid Inflatable Boats with rigid catamaran hulls (twin 
hulls) . Originally designed as landing craft with a bow area loading ramp, they fulfill many functions. The “loading ramp” 
lowers to facilitate easy loading of cargo, stretchers, even 4 wheel ATV’s! 


The Nautica CAT is ideal for dive training and dive/rescue as the ramp can be lowered into the water, using the electric 
hydraulic ram, to create a swim platform.Stretchers or bodies, once aboard the ramp, can be easily slid onto the 
deck. For divers the safety of locating the swim platform away from engines and propellor is important. 
The Nautica CATs are versatile military, work, rescue or law enforcement crafts which handle superbly with a light load or 
fully loaded to capacity. Our exclusive catamaran hull provides a faster stable ride requiring less power. 
They have good shallow water capability; the RIB20 and 24 CATs low draft enables them to run in less than 2’ of water. 
These craft are easily beached—permitting dry loading of equipment and personnel from almost any unimproved shore. 
They are ideal for patrol; officers appreciate their stability and lack of rocking when on station for long hours. Quickly 
accelerating when needed, they are capable of up to 65mph.
