Saturna Pilot House

The Saturna is not a combination "racer/cruiser", nor is she a motorsailer. She is strictly a comfortable cruising sailboat with no compromises to accommodate rule restrictions. She is fast, easy to handle and has that solid feeling of a much larger vessel.

The present owner has spent the last 4 years refurbishing "Bonzer" which includes:

• New interior
• New Custom Windows in the Pilothouse
• All hatches and ports removed and resealed (no leaks)
• Complete toe rail and exterior wood redone
• Rudder crack repaired

The hull design is typical of William Garden's ability to combine aesthetic appeal with seaworthy performance. The Saturna is a very stiff boat and a dry one in rough sea conditions. She is able to carry lots of sail in heavy weather. With her protected propeller and skeg supported rudder, the Saturna is designed not only for cruising but also for safety. This boat also has the convenience of a bow thruster for tight maneuvering in small harbors.
