San Juan 33S

The San Juan 33s is not the boat for everybody. The SJ 33s only weighs 5,000 lbs - - half of which is the keel. Reminiscent of long narrow sleek hulls from years gone by, she makes an eye appealing statement on the water. The Imron Black Hull (not jelcote) will hold its shine for years and years.

The San Juan 33s is VERY quick in Light Air and off wind, yet is very respectable upwind. She has a lovely feel to the helm and rates approximately 126 PHRF. Featuring comfortable sit up head room, she is not the cruiser for everyone, but she is a great boat for celebrating with friends in the interior, sitting down, having a toast after a club race or after a days sail.

A great boat to sail short handed, the boat comes with a self tacking jib which makes tacking a dream - - a feature you find on many of the 150k boats of today's design boards. Other sails: Spinnaker, 155% Genoa - - original and NEW North Mainsail and New North Headsail. The Yanmar 1GM Diesel, folding Prop, Self Tailing winches, Head & stove included.

The reason we are marketing this San Juan 33s for only 9,995.00 and now (6/10) reduced to 7,995.00 and not 19,000 is that the deck has significant separation aspects that will need attention at some point. Fully sailable right now, at some point it would be prudent to address this. Again, this is not the boat for everyone, but it is an opportunity for the RIGHT person.

Rooke Sails will consider a trade as part of the sale of this boat.  If you do not want to do the work on the deck repair, then Rooke Sails can be contracted to complete the effort.  Let us know what
