Bertram 38 Convertible (Widebody Edition)

Powered with a set of CAT 3208's Both engines have all major service work done to them including  adjustments and injectors, new fuel lines ,oil, filters etc. Perkins 7.5 kw (120hrs) generator has a custom cover for it to keep dry and running. Custom rudder plates were installed as well as dripless shaft packing.

Boat has had multiple upgrades to the interior in the past few years including all new flooring panels in the salon and forward, upgraded head with separate shower stall with new stainless hot water tank. All cabinets in the salon are custom made along with countertops, new headliner and wall panels. New bulkhead and salon door was custom installed in 2006. All work interior was done by a professional custom millwork company.

The exterior is also in better than average shape, the hull was Awl-Gripped in 2012, barrier coated in 2005 and was bottom was most recently painted in the spring 2014.  EZ2CY front enclosure with Strataglass side panels were installed in2007 and are in great shape, new custom softtop was installed in September of 2014.

Giant oversized cockpit has plenty of space for either crew on a fishing trip or cruising with the family. Bertram built this hull using the classic 31 Bertram design in mind but changing a few things including gunnel heights and forward layout configurations. Boat runs through ANYTHING with it's solid fiberglass hull and design. Classic wedge hull powers forward while sipping fuel and keeping the crew safe and comfy.
