English Channel Yawl
KLANG II is a 1924 English Channel gaff rigged yawl build by W.E. Thomas of Falmouth, England. This WWII Veteran is a great liveaboard, coastal cruiser or charter vessel. She has been lovingly restored and returned to action. She is silicone bronze fastened and her planking is long leaf yellow pine over white oak frames. Her decks are 3/4" plywood covered with Dynel.
She was hauled out at Gannon & Benjamin in the fall of 2008. They did many upgrades in 2009. Visit their website (gannonandbenjamin dot com and click on 'past projects') for a full description of the work completed.
She is a beautiful vessel in very good condition. An August 2007 survey is available upon request. Displacement: 14 gross tons
