Chris-Craft 47 Commander Yachtfish

BILLIE L. is a fiberglass 1968 Chris Craft Commander 47 Yacht Fish and is one of only twenty some cockpit vessels manufactured by Chris Craft between 1967 and 1972.

She has just recently been purchased by a young family to experience the joy of cruising the Great Lakes and is now up for sale after their great adventure. In preparation for their adventure, close to $30,000 USD worth of improvements were made to this vessel based on her 2014 survey which includes a whole new array of navigational electronics ($20,000 USD).

BILLIE L. comfortably sleeps six to eight people. The owner's aft stateroom has a Pullman-style queen berth and the forward guest stateroom includes a single bed and twin bunks with plenty storage underneath and alongside as well as hanging closets. Each stateroom has its own adjoining head. Her salon is roomy given her 15-foot beam and the galley-up model provides for good room for entertaining. The salon includes comfortable seating as well as the original hi-lo drop leaf table in the traditional dinette across from the galley.

The galley is well equipped with a three burner electric range and oven, refrigerator with freezer and a microwave. Large sliding windows on each side of the salon provide good natural lighting.  

The flybridge provides an excellent view while underway and creates an additional area for visiting and socializing while aboard. Finally the aft cockpit is always a popular area for visiting or getting ready for swimming, scuba diving or other water sports activities.
