Newbridge Pioneer Pilot

This Newbridge Pioneer Pilot is a well cared for and lovingly restored example of this solid bilge keel motor sailer.  Designed by Bill Dixon, built by Newbridge Yachts in 1987 and equipped with Volvo 10hp diesel engine, autopilot, slab reefing main with roller furling genoa and standing rigging replaced February 2014.

Very nice example of this 26ft Motor Sailer offering the comfort and accommodation of a much larger yacht, highly responsive but directionaly stable and cruised extenstively on the East Coast, Norfolk Broads and River Deben.

The accommodation offers up to six berths in two cabins.  Forepeak with double berth with stowage above and below, opening hatch to foredeck.  Saloon with central U shaped dinette with table converting to a double berth and generous stowage above and below. Navigation area to port with internal helm. Opening hatch to deck. Aft cabin to port side with double berth, hanging locker and opening port to cockpit. L shaped galley to starboard with Plastimo Neptune 2500 gas cooker with oven and grill, stainless steel sink with cold pressurised water and generous stowage.  Aft heads to starboard side with sea toilet and vanity unit with cold water supply, storage above and below, opening port to cockpit. Steps up to self draining cockpit with seating and stowage under.  Full interior lighting.  Curtains and carpets.
