Scand 29 Baltic

The Scand 29 Baltic is the companies most popular and successful model, combining excellent levels of build quality, comfort and accommodation in a compact and economic to run package. Rarely available secondhand, this late example is in excellent condition throughout and comes with an impressive inventory. She has benefited from continuous maintenance and regular upgrading of equipment during her current ownership since 2004 and makes a very comfortable aft cabin alternative to a Nimbus 310 or 320 coupe.

The Scand 29 Baltic offers up to 5 berths in the saloon and aft cabin with good headroom throughout:

FORWARD SALOON: Spacious open plan cabin consisting of a large circular seating area with table which drops to form a double berth. Aft to port is the linear galley and to starboard is the single quarter berth. Excellent storage in various lockers and stowage areas. LCD TV and Pioneer stereo system with CD and radio. Very good natural light and ventilation provided by fore and side windows with opening sections, hatch to foredeck and large sliding aft window to cockpit in addition to the sliding door.

GALLEY: A linear galley is located to port equipped with a Wallas diesel 2-burner hob with electric start, stainless steel sink,12/240v fridge and ample stowage in various lockers, shelves and cupboards. Microwave to starboard above quarter berth.

COCKPIT: Helm position to starboard with swivel bucket seat, reversible double seat to port, folding teak table and large aft bench seat with raised sunpad. Concealed sliding door to aft cabin and heads compartment offset to starboard. White and blue vinyl upholstery. 

AFT CABIN: Double berth to port with a vanity unit in aft walkway and ensuite access to heads compartment.

HEADS COMPARTMENT: Located to starboard and fitted with a marine toilet with holding tank, washbasin and shower. 

GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Pressurised hot and cold water supply throughout via calorifier with immersion coil. Wallas diesel fired warm air heating with 3 outlets. Additional electric fan heater for use on shore power. Twin water tanks with a total capacity of approximately 160 litres with gauges and changeover valve. Holding tank with 2-way valve system and gauge (all new including pipework in 2008 and unused since). Blue upholstery, curtains and scatter cushions. Blue fitted carpets over teak and holly sole boards. High quality teak fit out throughout with excellent use of space to provide substantial amounts of concealed storage.
