The design of the Pulsifer Hampton is based on the Casco Bay Hampton, a lobster boat built by Charlie Gomes from 1902 through the 1950s. Charlie Gomes' Hampton's were work boats.

Designed first and foremost for function - to be used, to work hard, and to endure - the same qualities Dick Pulsifer has vested in the Pulsifer Hampton's he builds today.

Having built nearly one hundred ten Pulsifer Hamptons, the methods, materials, and equipment are much the same as those he has used for almost forty years. Though, with each Hampton he builds, he is continually adding details, developing techniques, and making improvements.

Stock #68029 This is a beautiful boat that is just broken in with 400 hours on the efficient Yanmar diesel engine. The only issue I could see on this boat, when I saw it, was the bottom paint is dry, flaking and cracking. The rest of the boat is gorgeous, despite having some dust from sitting.
