1997:

  • All interior mahogany revarnished.
  • All exterior teak refinished with Sikkens Cetol Gloss.
  • Replaced stove with new Seward Princess S/S propane stove.
  • Added Freedom 10 Heart inverter/battery charger.
  • Converted single boot stripe to a white/blue double.
  • Reconfigured stereo and radar display in nav station, added Garmin GPS interfaced to autopilot.
  • Added Magma propane BBQ with rail mount.
  • Changed from hard epoxy to Micron CSC bottom paint.
  • Added varnished Edson teak cockpit table with extra leaves to seat six.

1998:

  • Replaced mainsheet traveler car/track with Harken, car adjustable from cockpit.
  • Upgraded to 150A engine alternator and Max Charge controller for batteries.
  • Upgraded to 360A-HR gel cell batteries for house service.
  • Upgraded to 800cca AGM battery for engine start, trickle charged from house bank.
  • Separate battery switches for house and engine.
  • Added Freedom for monitoring both battery banks, inverter and battery charger.

 

1999:

  • Added 1.5 oz. cruising spinnaker (used 4 times), with ATN sock.
  • Replaced jib sheet cars/tracks with Harken big boat system, cars adjustable from cockpit.
  • Added 50w solar panel and battery regulator.

 

2000:

  • Added customized S/S line guard in front of rudder and skeg.
  • Replaced all toilet, holding tank and overboard discharge hoses with white sanitary hoses.
  • Add freshwater accumulator tank.

 

2001:

  • Added spur line cutters in front of propeller.
  • Mast mounted radar reflector.

 

HULL & DECK:

  • White hull (original gelcoat), double blue boottop, black bottom.
  • Solid fiberglass hull; balanced rudder with foam core.
  • Ballast: 9000 lbs lead (encapsulated).
  • Edson pedestal wheel steering with leather-type wheel covering; also emergency tiller.
  • Moulded fiberglass decks with light gray non-skid.
  • 2004 bottom stripped and barrier coated using 6 coats of Interlux Interprotect, with Micron CRC ablative bottom paint over.
  • Encapsulated keel with fiberglass centerboard; prop protected in aperture.
  • Double S/S bow and stern pulpits, with side stanchions and double lifelines, with double gates.
  • Teak handrails and eyebrows, and 6” high teak toerails.
  • All exterior teak was stripped and refinished in Cetol with 4-5 base coats with 2 high gloss clear coats on top to high standards, in 2010.
  • 9 bronze thru hull fittings by Spartan Marine.
  • S/S swim/boarding ladder with teak steps, mounted on transom.
  • Teak cockpit table, attached to pedestal, with extra leaves to seat 6.

TANKAGE:

FUEL: 30 gallons in aluminum tank; tank drained and cleaned 2009.

WATER: 150 gallons in three S/S tanks; one under cabin sole, vee berth, and port settee.

HOLDING: Fiberglass with manual overboard discharge or via deck pumpout, approximately 25 gallons.

 

ELECTRICAL:

  • 12V DC system; 110V AC system for house batteries (360 amp) with AC-DC circuit breaker panels.
  • 2-6V gel cell batteries, 1-4D battery, 1-Optima AGM12V 800cca battery (engine start) is charged from house bank with an Echo charger.
  • 50´ 30-amp shore power cord.
  • Newmar battery charger for 110V charging.
  • 2011 Heart Freedom 1800 battery charger/inverter.
  • Installed 150-amp alternator with Max Charge battery controller.
  • Siemens 50w solar power panel atop radar pod.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

  • For five to seven in varnished mahogany interior with varnished teak and holly cabin sole.
  • Anchor locker forward followed by spacious vee berth with filler.
  • Outboard of berth are sliding cabinet doors; drawers and hanging lockers.
  • Aft to port is a large head with separate stall shower and shower sump pump, and sink, with double access doors.
  • Opposite head is a hanging locker.
  • Next aft is the main salon with port and starboard settees, which may both be extended.
  • Outboard of the settees are numerous shelves and cabinets.
  • Two-fold varnished mahogany table which folds up to the bulkhead.
