Hull is of Eastern White Cedar (northern NE) which has been covered inside and out with 20 oz fiberglass cloth set in epoxy and painted. Interior framing is of Southern Yellow Pine (GA) which is noted for its strength and durability. Interior areas painted gray. Interior seating is of Cypress (FL) in natural tones. The decks are of Spanish Cedar (AL) which have been stained to a beautiful red and brown hue, then varnished. The highly figured trim accents are of Black Cherry ( VT).  Hardware is either stainless steel or chrome plated bronze.

Regardless of a vessel's fuel source-  speed and range are inversely proportional: The faster you go- the less range you have. At 4 mph, Starry Nights has a max range of 20 hours. At 5 mph the range drops to 8 hours and at a top speed of 7+ mph the range is only 2 hrs. Calculations are based on a conservative discharge of less than 50 % of battery pack capacity.
