Monk Cabin

The Monk 36 gained popularity in the 1980's as a durable and affordable Taiwan import with a classic trawler profile and a traditional all-teak interior.  Recent upgrades include New Fuel Tanks (aluminum) installed Oct 2014, New batteries (2-4D & 1 X12 volt installed in 2014)

With her high freeboard forward in combination with her flared bow and molded in spray rails, she is an extremely dry boat when running into head seas. The interior design utilizes maximum space offering a master cabin aft that offers a head with shower and tub, guest cabin forward with enclosed head to port, bright and airy salon and galley. The interior is rich with teak cabinetry, teak and holly flooring, all new wraparound windows, ports and hatches.

Port and starboard doors lead into the salon featuring a lower helm, portside settee below with high-low table that converts to sleep two. There are storage cabinets and drawers below the settee, and the galley is to starboard.

The guest cabin forward has a v-berth with storage under, hanging locker and ensuite head with vanity, sink and shower.  The master cabin aft offers a double bed to starboard, ensuite head with vanity, sink shower and tub. there is an aboundance of storage in hanging lockers, drawers and shelves.
