This Crossbow 40 Cutter Riged Sloop designed by Angelos Lavranos (Angus Primrose and Sparkman Stephens trained) was designed as a serious centre cockpit blue water sailing boat.

Repainted with Hempel Multicoat.

She sleeps six in two state rooms and two additional berths forward and has two heads. Her aft owners cabin with en-suite heads, settee and chest of drawers is very palatial.

Her saloon has a divided area for safety in a sea way and she has good sized chart table.

Her galley which is under the port cockpit is good sized and very useable.

Powered by a  Volvo MD22L 50hp which was completely rebuilt in 2011 with only a few hundred hours. Every thing that could wear in an engine was replaced so this is virtully a new engine.

Build/fabrication is solid GRP with heavy stringers.

Long fin keel has encapsulated ballast.

Rudder is a steel fabrication on GRP skeg which is part of the hull fabrication.

Deck is solid GRP with ply webs laminated to under side.

Hull to deck join is laminated and through bolted through aluminium toe rail.

Fore hatch removed and wood base encapsulated with GRP and re bedded last year and wood work re-varnished.
