This is a well-taken care of cruiser that was owned by a family member of one our long-time employees. The boat is designed around the mariner that wants to be able to trailer the boat, but also wants the added functionality of being able to not only do quick overnights with it, but extended stays, as well. As such, there is MUCH more cabin space in this boat than most it's size. Of note, is that the engine is newer - it is a '95, fuel injected V8. There's a dual electric (flat top) range on the port side; but adding to functionality, it flips up to reveal a dual alcohol range, as well. Further forward of the galley is a head. To starboard is a nicely sized dinette that can seat four. Of course, further forward is the large v-berth for sleeping with opening hatch. The cabin also has heat, which allows your season to be extended. The dash includes full instrumentation with a stainless steel Destroyer-style wheel, trim tab indicators, VHF radio and electronic, auto-compensating compass, and spotlight. Also equipped on the boat is a interphase forward looking sonar, which allows the captain to see what is ahead of them rather than what is behind the boat. A cockpit cover and bimini top with enclosures ensure full weather protection. As safety and redundancy was a primary concern for my Uncle (A U.S. Power Squadron member and instructor), it is also pre-rigged for a kicker motor that can draw fuel directly from the onboard tank, along with an automatic oil-mixing system if a 2-stroke outboard is used. Spare parts, fenders/bumpers, life jackets, ropes/lines and Mercruiser service manuals are included with the boat. If you're looking to get into the cruising lifestyle on a budget, this particular boat/motor/trailer is something that you'll want to take a look at. The boat is fully trailerable (and easy to launch/retrieve with the "automatic" trailer), yet takes full advantage of it's space for livability. When you look at all that it has to offer and how it was cared for, it really is a lot of boat for the money. - Specifications - Make: Century Year: 1981 Model: Express 7000 LOA: 26 Feet Engine: 1995 Mercury 5.7 TBI Horsepower: 260 Drive: Alpha 1 Dry Weight: 6,900 Max Persons: 13 Trailer: 1981 Float-On A2
