Pearson True North 38

Looking for a quality down east cruiser with great economy and efficiency? The Mary Jen is a fine example of Pearson’s ever popular 38’ True North. She has only 1100 hours on her Yanmar 440 and has been constantly kept up to date by her knowledgeable owner. This particular vessel has been extremely well maintained. The vessel received new exterior hull paint the summer of 2013 and shows exceptional. Her engine services are up to date and she is in turn key condition. The vessel is lift stored (bottom paint was renewed in 2013 as well) and has a full mooring cover which has kept her fresh and spotless.

The True North 38 is a very comfortable Down East style vessel with an impressive beam, 20kt cruise performance, and many modern features. It is the perfect day boat or great weekend cruiser. Powered by a single, yet very efficient Yanmar 440 diesel engine, this vessel exhibits exception range and cruising capabilities. The uniquely designed transom doubles as a dinghy storage area or gateway to many watersports opportunities. The oversized cockpit features a large transom bench seat that seats 5 comfortably. Moving forward, the helm deck is designed as an integral living area with a large booth style dinette, galley arrangement, and ample seating. The vessel helm deck area is fully enclosed and air conditioned with hard windows forward and to the sides with a removable enclosure aft. The lower accommodations feature an oversized V-berth with filler pad and private head/shower compartment.
