The bottom was just professionally re-done. I was going to do just a barrier coat, but became convinced the tiny spots would grow, so now it's totally re-done with new fiberglass layers. They shaved to the glass and applied two layers of heavy 1808 fiberglass weave, Now it's faired and need's one more sanding and the barrier coat and paint. Be done after the next 3 nice days in a row.

The bottom job costs about $14,000, dramatically increasing the value of the boat. Better than a new hull now, and rudder. Also, just had a new rudder pintle made, with reinforcing gunnels welded on the underside, eliminating a common concern on T37's (writt ... [ask POP associate for the full description]
