Columbia 34 Mkii - Beautiful Sloop rigged, auxiliary, cruising sailboat



They are selling their 1970 Columbia 34 MkII. They purchased it back in 2006 and started an extensive restoration. During the Restoration the boat received Aristo Blue Topsides
with Snow White Stripes and Top Sides. Non-Skid was done with InterDeck Gray. Teak / Black Epoxy cockpit seats and floor were added. Custom Columbia 34 Logo was added to the cockpit sole as well. They installed a Lewmar Anchor windless with Delta Plow anchor
and stainless steel bow roller w/25 or chain and 250 of rope. All deck hardware was refinished or replaced including new cleats, new lifelines, cleaned and greased winches, and added solar head vent. Extensive interior upgrades took place as well including

Stock #62021 Per recent survey:The bottom was sounded and inspected and found to be sound, showing no signs of corrosion, deterioration, or delamination of the fiberglass. All under water fittings and running gear were found to show no signs of deterioration due to galvanic action. The propeller blades were observed for proper alignment and noted to turn true. The Cutlass bearing was found to be within its limits of usefulness. The rudder was noted to be properly aligned and well secured. The blue VC17 anti fouling bottom paint was note to be in good condition. There were no signs of blisters. The bottom was measured for moisture content using a GRP-33 moisture meter. It read 4-7 on the meter. This would be considered good for a vessel of this age.
The Topsides were sounded and inspected and found to be in good condition, showing no signs of hard or abusive use. The topsides were found to show no signs of delamination. This vessel meets the ABYC H-41.9 recommendations for unassisted re-boarding of this vessel.
The interior of the vessel was inspected where accessible and found to be in good condition. All frames, partitions and bulkheads were inspected where accessible and found to be in goood condition, showing no signs fo weekness due to delamination or deterioration of the marine plywood or the fiberglass. The thru-hull valves should beroutinely operated to insure that they are functioning properly. All thru-hull fittings below the waterline were noted to be in good conditon. All hoses were inspected where accessible and were found to be in good condition.
The engine was inspected and showed no signs of oil or abuse. It was clean and free of grease, showing no signs of oil in the bilge. Fuel, holding, and water tanks were inspected where accessible and appear to be sound. No obvious leakage was noted;

The general condition appear good structural, good cosmetically, and has been well maintained.
