Sydney 40T

The Sydney 40's were designed and built to be the 1999 Admirals Cup one design boat.  Babe was built in 2001 (as Bull), she was the last Sydney 40 bulit we believe. The hull and deck are the standard, she has a custom bronze keel fin and a custom lead bulb. That gives her a slightly deeper draft, and slightly lighter displacement. The hull and deck are epoxy over foam and kevlar reinforcement- very well built and strong. The mast and boom are carbon (Carbontech) with rod rigging, and all spectra running rigging. It is an inline 3 spreader mast with runners and checks, very tuneable and fast. The pole is a Carbon 5.4 metre Forespar.  B&G Hydra 2000 electronics package with an extra performance processor, every option, and 4 x 2020 mast mounted readouts. The boat comes with a full sail wardrobe and details are listed on request.
