Irwin 52

This IRWIN 52 has to be the best maintained, updated and upgraded IRWIN 52 on the market.  Nearly  all of her systems and hardware have been upgraded since 2000.  Bascially, you will not find a better IRWIN 52 on the market unless you want to pay $100,000 more.

New Genset, Invertor, Electrical panels, new wiring, new awlgrip deck and hull, new canvas, new bowthruster, newish sails. 

She shows like a boat ready for a boat show.  Fasitidious owner and a professional.

There may be others on the market, but none as nice, well kept, upgraded and she looks ten years old at the most.

ACCOMODATIONS:

The Irwin 52 is a centercockpit design with wonderfully large side decks, a spacious aft sitting deck with gas grill, davits, and chairs for enjoying your next port of call.

The cockpit has a full (new) enclosure for the helmsman and crew to be out of the elements when required and has ease of access to all sail controls, navigation instruments, winches, etc.

Down the companionway you enter a wide open, light, and airy main salon with excellent visibility through expansive foward and side portlights.  There is a beautiful settee to starboard with bucket chairs to port and tables for serving guests.

Aft and to starboard of the companionway, is a large L shaped galley with excellent counterspace, stove, oven, extra large freezer and fridge with and extra fridge underneath the companionway stairs.  Opposite the galley is more storage and a extra large navigation station.

Aft of the galley is the master stateroom with seating, storage drawers, hanging lockers and a center line king bed.  There is an en suite large marine head with a separate shower stall..

Forward of the main salon to port is a walk in mechanical work room, with a full size work bench, drawers for storage of spare parts and tools.  This area in some Irwins was an over under private berth and if necessary could be converted back to such.

A large V berth with its own en suite marine head and separate shower stall provides guests with privacy, seating, storage and comfort.

ELECTRICAL

Installed in 2001 is a 9KW ONAN generator which has barely been used with less than 400 hours.  Very clean, well maintained and flawless.

New AC DC electrical panels wer installed in 2000 with 33 DC breakers and 11 AC breakers,   All new wiring in 2000.

In 2011 aa new 2000 watt inverter/charger was installed.

In 2002 a 10KW SIDE POWER Bowthruster was installed.

Batteries consist of two 4D's house, two 6VDC starting, 2 6VDC bowthruster

Raritan 12 gallon hot water heater - new in 2013.
