Grand Bahama Pilothouse Cruiser - Veteran cruiser, ready to go
Classic design with "Portuguese" Pilot House, "Cabaret" has been cruising in the Caribbean for the last several years after journeying down the USA West Coast and transiting the Panama Canal. The owners reported a smooth trip, thanks in large part to the $20,000 Paravane system that kept her steady throughout the voyage. Though little known - only 13 were built - Grand Bahama trawlers have a distinguished pedigree, having been built by Ta Yang Building Co, Taiwan, builder of the well known and well regarded Tayana line of blue water cruising sailboats. Although she does show her age in some respects, all cosmetic in nature, she is fully sound and ready to continue taking her new owners anywhere in comfort. The owners have decided to move on from boating, so will be leaving everything on board except their personal gear, including a vast array of tools, culinary items, bedding and linens, TV's, in short everything you will need to continue cruising. An additional attraction is that she is located on the beautiful island of Roatan, Honduras, the heart of northwestern Caribbean cruising. Just a short distance from Guatemala, Belize and Mexico with a plethora of uncrowded anchorages. Full keel, flush forward deck, raised pilothouse at midships. Boat deck aft with main cabin below and aft cockpit. Interior layout consist of a stateroom down and v-berth forward with adjacent head and shower. Master stateroom midships with adjacent head and shower to starboard. Salon and galley down four steps aft of midship with dinette aft. Thirty inch swim platform on aft transom with walk-through.
