Southerly 28 - Significant price reduction!

The Southerly 28, designed by John Bennett was the design which started the now renowned range of lifting keel cruisers from Southerly. Despite being a deisgn of the 1970's some of the features found in this little cruiser have carried on to the boats produced today. During a production run spanning 1975 - 1984 a total of 148 boats were built before the updated Southerly 100 started production.

With her lifting keel, Southerly's acknowledged ability to 'float on a damp lawn' and pilot house design the little Southerly 28 offers great accommodation and flexible cruising ability for a boat of her modest size. Designed for shorthanded cruising great affort has been made to ensure skipper and crew get the most out of the sailing experience and the boat is easily handled by even a modest crew.

Currently wintering afloat here at Ardfern.
