Founded in 1934 by Oakland native Don Philbrick, Philbrick Boat Works has gained national fame for its sleek wooden power boats. The shop still operates today in Oakland CA owned by Russ Donovan, who began as Don's apprentice. The shop still hand builds custom wooden boats as well as restoration projects. This 28 footer is in great shape. She has all the original chrome, seats, and gauges including the windshield. The seat covers and trim are all in great shape. The boat is powered by a Ford 351 motor attached to a V drive churning a 3 blade bronze prop. She sits on a sturdy dual axle steel trailer and comes with full custom boat cover.
