Gartside Sloop Gaff Rigged - New arrival

Day-sailer designed by Paul Gartside - plenty of room for family and friends to get you out on the water sailing. Built in 2010 by the students at the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding it has just been lightly sailed by students for sea trials. Hull is in red cedar, with white oak frames, steel centerboard . Ready to sail now.

LOA 18ft, Beam 7'6".

Hull is planked in red cedar, with white oak frames. Steel centerboard , sails , sail cover and a full boat cover. The sails are laced over the spars when raising, in the traditional style. Keel stepped mast in spruce. Boat is rigged with custom bronze hardware. Rope strop wood blocks custom made by the boat school students.

Boat is ready to sail now.
