Nordic Tug 26Cr

The Nordic Tug 26CR has arrived to the Great Lakes.  "Cruise Ready" describes this well equipped and ready to go trawler.  The 26 shares the same characteristics as her larger siblings with less comittment.  The layout has been improved and clever additions have been added.  Storage is plentiful on this 26 foot Nordic.  Electronics installed, bottom paint applied and ready to go.  The Tuff Trailer can be be optioned out.

The forward stateroom in the 26CR has been planned well.  The offset berth to starboard offers comfortable quarters for two.  Removeable bin storage under the berth are convenient totes for carrying gear to and from the vessel.  Storage beneath the totes is large and offers additional containerized storage of gear.  Two large pull out drawers below allow storage of clothing and sundries with easy access.  Opposite the berth are two smaller pull out drawers and top for items and a full hanging locker aft with smaller cabinet below.  Opposite the hanging locker to starboard is the head entrance.  Large for 26', the wethead has storage above and below and offers a standard electric head.  Stairs are removeable for access to componentry. 

Moving aft from the forward companionway is the pilothouse.  Port and starboard seats offer excellent 360 degree range of vision.  A large helm console contains the recessed electronics pod with the new Raymarine e7 display with room for additional electronics. Pilothouse dorrs to port and starboard offer excellent side deck access to the spring cleat just aft of the doors.  The entire floor of the pilothouse lifts out for full access to the engine and mechanical components.

Moving aft to the main saloon, the galley to port offers a propane stove, microwave oven and single stainless steel sink aft.  Ample countertop space allows for meal preparation and serving. Two large drawers and two cabinets will allow storage for dishware and serving sets.  The dinette to starboard seats 2 - 4 and converts to a double berth for the occassional guests or kids.  The same storage bins below provide additioanl convenient storage and more storage below that is available.
