Warner Custom Auxiliary Sloop - Price just reduced

PHOENIX was designed by Winthrop Warner, noted for his comfortable and attractive cruising boats.  She was built by the esteemed Seth Persson, well known as the builder of the famous S&S ocean-racing yawl FINISTERRE.

1¼” carvel Honduras mahogany plank over steam-bent square 2” white-oak frames, oak structural keel, oak backbone, oak deadwood, and oak floor timbers, silicon bronze-screw fastened.  Deck is Dynel and epoxy over marine plywood (new 1993-94).  7’-x-7’ self-bailing teak cockpit with teak trim.  Cabin roof is plywood

    with Dynel and epoxy.  Wheel steering.  Lead interior and exterior ballast.  The hull is black, the bottom green, and the boottop and deck off-white.  **NOTE:  In 1993 Rockport Marine, Rockport, Maine, rebuilt the vessel’s deck, cabin roof, cockpit coaming, toerail, and transom, and some deck beams.  The hull was stripped, caulked, and painted, and all deck hardware was remounted and reseated.  In 1995, all spars were stripped and varnished with 10+ coats, and hardware was remounted.  In 1999, the bottom was wooded and repainted.  In 2006, a new bobstay was installed.  The boat was refastened below the water line, by New England Shipyard in 2006.  Butt blocks were included and all seams reefed out, primed and resealed.  PHEONIX has fresh paint and varnish throughout.
