This is a spacious 28' Rinker cuddy cabin, with a single 496 Mag Mercruiser. Rinker manufactured this boat in both a cuddy cabin and as a bow rider, and the boat is designed to maximize space in and around the driver and cockpit area. The boat is located within blocks of the factory where it was made! The owner has a slip on the lake where Rinker tests all of it's boats! He has neighbors that have worked at Rinker for decades, and most probably helped manufacture this boat! The owner is selling it as his daughter, son-in-law and grand kids moved out of the area, and the boat is not used. His favorite feature is the handling, speed and the way it handles in rough water. The largest lake the owner has used the boat on is 20,000 acres.

Stock #66131 The boat and trailer are in good to very good condition. I would rate this boat a 3.5 to 4 on a 0 to 5 scale with 0 being a complete wreck, and 5 representing showroom or bristol condition. This rating is based upon how the boat presents and the attitude and care of the owner. I am using range for my rating as the boat was fully shrink wrapped when I view it, and lacked accessibility to much of the gel coat, the engine, swim platform, bow and windlass.
The trailer is in very good condition including the tires and spare. The hull seems sound, however does show some small scratches in the gel coat. There is one small scratch on the port side that is deeper than the gel coat. The bottom is painted, which one would expect of a boat that spends the season in the water tied to a dock. It appears the boat was power washed, especially the areas which sit in or below the water. The outdrive and trim tabs are clean, but could use some TLC and touch up. The prop was covered by shrink wrap. I observed no evidence of scratching or damage to the painted area of the hull.
The vinyl and upholstery is without blemish, with the exception of the folding bolster on the captain's chair. The stitching on this pad is beginning to fail, and needs repair. All other areas, including the solid surface tops are in good condition. The cabin was also in good condition, with all of the vinyl and fabric all in very good condition. All of the padding in the seats and cushions seems to be solid, firm and without issue.
The boat has been professionally maintained and cared for by a Rinker dealer. This includes winterization, shrink wrapping, annual tune-ups/oil changes as well as cleaning and detailing each spring. A full set of records during his ownership should be available.
The toilet and sink were winterized when I viewed the boat. Generally, a very good indicator the boat is properly winterized. Shrink wrapping was nicely done, reinforced from the inside, and employ two vents at the highest points.
All of the carpeting was in good shape.
Overall, I believe this to be a sound vessel, and look forward to a water test in the spring!
