Baltic Trader Ketch Motorsailer

This is a very able, classic motor-sailor.

Despite being only 40’ on deck, she is more of a small ship than a yacht.

Her broad beam, high bulwarks and a substantial wheel-house all add to her ship-like feel.

She was recently hauled for bottom inspection, caulking, bottom and topside painting.

She would be an ideal live-aboard vessel.

2’ oak planking on oak frames with an oak centerline construction; hull painted black. The boat was hauled, re-caulked as needed, painted and re-lunched in the spring of 2014; Douglas fir planked deck sheathed in fibreglass; Aluminum deck-house over the original hold which is now the main cabin; substantial wheel-house aft; lots of one-level deck space with substantial bulwarks; two hatches; two opening ports; full keel and fully supported rudder with hydraulic steering.
