Robert Perry, the designer, has always remarked that this is one of his favorite designs.  This boat is what was called the standard model as in 1981 they introduced the Bahama model, which was not so well received and so they returned to the popular standard model.  These boats are in demand on the used market and there’s no wonder why.  They are excellent sailing vessels, very comfortable for cruising, but competitive if used in club racing as well.  Her wide beam offers safe walking about on the deck and room below for accommodating a family, friends or crew.  Forward there is a double berth.  Just aft is a locker to port and to starboard is the enclosed head with solid teak door.  The main salon has a single port and a double starboard settee, which makes a very comfortable berth.  There is a quarter berth on the starboard side.  The L-Shaped galley is to port. There is a table which uniquely stows out of  the way when not in use. Headroom is 6‘ and this is a very comfortable boat with a lot of ammenities. The cabin is attractive with lush abundant teak, green cushions, beige curtains and vinyl headliner with zippers to gain access to deck hardware.  Outside there is matching green sunbrella sail cover, BBQ cover, life line covers, etc. making this a very attracive vessel. The inboard runs like a clock and is flawless.  The mast wiring and navigation lights are new.  The owners don’t use the boat to justify keeping it, but have owned it for 9 years.  They boast the sailing ability of the vessel, how balanced she is and has excellent accommodations for her size.  This is a nice boat.
