Discovery 42 - A Classic

Truely a classic One-design cruiser/racer designed on the West Coast Discovery 42. Built by Forbes Cooper and finished by Bonar Davis of Swiftsure race fame,the 'KSan is a one design yacht which was built for comfort but has lots of speed. She won the Swiftsure race of 1982-1983 in her PHRF class. Her interior appointments lack nothing and her topsides and rigging will have most traditional sailors completely satisfied.

'KSan is a perfect Cruiser/Racer which will sail and show for many more years to go.

The Discovery 42, designed and built for the Pacific NorthWest cruising lifesyle. This yacht is extremely stable and handles heavy weather and seas easily. She has a raised salon for level viewing with large safety-glass windows. Her cockpit boasts ample space with table, seating for four and walk-around wheel. Easy step-through from cock-pit to salon and wide side decks. Interior heat by Dickenson Polar with two sources of hot-water this vessel would make a terrific live-aboard. Great access to the engine and running gear with many access panels and removable bulkheads.
