The V248 is a moderately sized cruiser just right for frequent voyages for families and couples. At the helm, tilt steering and a dual helm seat with flip-up bolsters, will have the captain thanking his lucky stars that the V248 made its way back into production. A refined charcoal instrumentation panel is equipped with Faria gauges, including a standard tachometer with hour meter, fuel gauge, oil pressure, speedometer, temperature gauge and volt meter, all with fog-resistant lenses, surrounded by polished bezels. A compass is included to guide the way, along with a depth sounder with shallow water alarm. And, for utmost safety precautions, a gas vapor detector is now standard. For additional equipment, the dash allows extra space for optional GPS and VHF. The cockpit has been restyled to maximize smart space usage, complete with standard U-shaped stern seating outfitted in Aquaflex vinyl, the tops in marine grade upholstery. Mediterranean SunSport seating is optional to allow opposing stern seats to convert to a large sun deck with reclining seat back. A removable 36-quart cooler is included, and an optional cockpit table. Clean-up is easy with a fiberglass liner.
