The Classics Never Die. Grass Skirt falls under this phenomenon. Classic lines that remind one of an era of great times. More recently designers have been reinterpreting these lines to new levels however many cannot pass up an original, well maintained yacht of this caliber.

Grass Shirt was built at the Lien HWA Ship Yard in Taiwan with a production run from 1979 to 1994.Several hundred were built and most are still around. Many people describe them as bullet proof, go anywhere in comfort yachts.

The owners of Grass Skirt and myself recently embarked on a 1000 mile adventure. I found her very easy to handle from both the pilot house and the fly bridge. I was impressed at every turn but mostly enjoyed the privacy of my own guest cabin with en suite head and shower. I love this cruising machine.
