This Sailboat was built by a man with passion and a vision to create a classic, traditional sailboat from the George Buehler stable( Great bear).Elmer worked for the forestry and put 10 years of labor and love into her before passing. Tom Tallman purchased and re-powered and fitted taller aluminium mast and rigging and was 'gutted' selling her. Current owner purchased in 2005 and loves her strong construction, sea kindle-ness, taller mast in light airs and young boat with traditional style.

Stock #66648 Make a few basic repairs, cherry`s out the cosmetics and she will be ready to cruise. GPS older model, needs antenna. Foc`l hatch is slider so in big waves takes water. Easy fix. Inside needs sanding, putty in some spots, painting/varnish or oil, started this year but owners unable to finish. Same outside, sand + paint + we oil wood trim. Same on dinghy, some plywood has warped a bit, so needs strengthening if going off shore. Cover over hatch also needs some plywood cosmetic work, due to warping in a few small places. Sink needs sanding + filled w/trim. Bunk needs trim on 2 sides. All sails are good, main a bit stretched out. 1 storm sail almost new. 5 Opening Brass portholes all have cloudy glass. Anti rust needs to be put on engine mount.
