An excellent sea boat, the 40' Sport Sedan is the only dedicated sportfishing design ever offered by Tollycraft. Introduced in 1987, she rides on the proven low-deadrise hull design used in several previous Tollycraft models. Originally offered with the galley in the salon and two staterooms forward, a revised interior in 1989 expanded the main deck area by moving the galley farther forward and separating it from the salon with a snack bar. The "Panacea" features an optional lower helm. The interior is tastefully decorated with teak woodwork, designer fabrics, and quality hardware and furnishings. Topside, a transom door is standard in the large cockpit, and wide side decks make foredeck access easy and secure. The flybridge with the helm forward seats up to six in comfort.
