She is a fast comfortable performance cruising yacht. In 1980 this was the largest yacht built by Baltic with generous beam and long waterline. The shape of the hull allows the Baltic 51' to be easy and enjoyable to steer and he functional deck layout is equally suited for safe family cruising and racing. Her beautifully varnished teak interior features four staterooms, large salon with U-shaped galley, navigation station and three heads provides comfort and livability. A very attractive feature of the 51’ Baltic is her keel/board design. The shoal draft offers very good performances and stability with the board raised (6’6 draft), with the option of lowering the board to enhance windward performances. The board fully lowered increases the draft to 11’, however partial lowering is another option.
