Custom Steel Hull Sailboat - Price just reduced

Owners' description is as follows.  Orion was originally built in Holland in 1920 as a steam tug boat. It stayed in service until the late sixties.  In about 1990 it was taken from basically a bare hull, rub rail to rub rail, and converted into a wishbone schooner for chartering in Europe. The constuuction met all Dutch passenger carrying specifications.  She was used in charters for about ten years carrying 12 passengers and a crew of three.

About year 2000 Orion was sailed to Vancouver for chartering in British Colombia. The present owners purchased it there in 2001 and completely rebuilt the interior and had SeaTec shipyard add a bow and stern thruster and complete hydraulics. The boat was then sand blated and painted.  All bright work was redone. Since that time the boat has been cruised by a husband and wife team from Vancouver, BC, down the pacific coast, through the canal and through the Caribbean. Orion is presently in Isla San Andres a Colombian island about 200 miles north of the Panama Canal off the coast of Nigaragua.

Orion's hull is rivited steel, her decks/bulwarks are welded steel and the mast are steel with booms made of wood.
