This Starwind has a gorgeous underbody. We installed 406 West System in any blister found and hard pad sanded each individual blister for a VERY true underbody. We have NEVER seen blisters repaired in this manner reblister. Last but not least we installed new Bottom Paint - - Balto Plate! THIS Starwind 27 has become pretty darn spiffy. Just take a look at these photos. The main photo featured shows the boat with the NEW navy hull striping with copper trim (same color as the new sailcover and UV on the rollerfurler headsail). Looks GREAT - VERY SHARP !

This boat was recently purchased/delivered  for 12,900.00, but the owner was surprised with the news of new members of the family coming by the Stork delivery system. Time for a larger house and will have to put the sailing career off for a few years. Thus we have this wonderful sailing boat available at a great price considering condition.

The STARWIND 270 is one of the best sailing 27's ever built. Likewise she is a great family daysailor with a fairly health beam for a 27 @ 9' 8" almost a foot wider than the popular Catalina 27. Attractive to the eye as most Jim Taylor Designs are, in this case form follows function. This boat has a superb hull shape.

If you ever club race the boat you and everyone else will marvel @ the boats ability to sail as fast as OR FASTER than the incredible International J 24. But in the case of the Starwind you have complete stand up headroom apposed to the sit up headroom of a J 24. We guarantee you that just daysailing, you will be spoiled with the performance and ease of handling. One of the corner stones of fast boats is a very well balanced helm. The STARWIND 270 lives up to that enjoyable and SAFE Sailing quality.
