STRUCTURAL IMPROVMENTS MADE BY OWNER (who is a boatbuilder for 13 years): These improvements have been documented and approved by two surveys, the latest one done in Spring 2014. These surveys by Paul Haley & David Wyman are available at your request.

  1. This vessel fell over on her portside and sustained damage amidships in 2001. The present owner has described his repairs in a recent report which is available. The only sign of the repair now is a slightly different gelcoat color, due to age.
  2. In 2004, the bottom paint was removed with Peelaway. Ablative paper was used since.
  3. Teak toerails were rebedded and replaced with Angelique, companionway trim rebedded and refinished, new raised panel dropboards were built, cockpit coamings were repaired, rebedded and refinished.
  4. Vee berth filler was made.
  5. Cockpit sole had some delamination. This was repaired from below, with new ½” closed cell foam with glass.
  6. Replaced chainplate bolts in 2005.
  7. Replaced most running rigging.
  8. Upgraded the electrical panel in 2008.

The latest survey done by David Wyman, May 14, 2014, said the hull was repaired well. However, he did observe an area around the mast step is wet and beginning to delaminate in a 3 sq. ft. area; also, a small area in the starboard side deck near mast shows elevated moisture. However, the owner prefers to sell the vessel AS IS now, which is why the asking price is below the current market value.
