Irwin 42 Ketch - Loaded - needs to be finished!

This wellfound Irwin has been upgraded with the intent of sailing around the Caribbean but health issues force the sale.  It is offered "as is, where is" on the hard.  Rebuilt engine, new prop shaft and prop, rebuilt generator, new bow thruster, new water maker, reinforced keel and rudder, custom hard bimini and dodger, new stanchions, new washer/dryer, and many more features.  Needs finish out and carpet.  Needs cushions.  Needs new mainsail.  Easy to see.  Engines are capable of running on hard to demo. 

If you want a good cruiser with solid upgraded virtually new features and at a good price, Caribea needs to be on your hot list. 

Caribea interior has been heavily rebuilt and reinforced.  The bulkheads were replaced with 1.5" marine plywood and bonded in place. 

The centerline cockpit layout for the Irwin is typical of other center cockpits with the large aft cabin and en-suite head/shower, walk thru past the nav station and engine access to port of the companionway and a step down to the galley starboard.  It has a large dinette/salon with a lots of storage under and behind the settees.  And forward, the cabin has been modified to eliminate the berth but add the new (unused) washer/dryer and added storage.  The forward head/shower remain but have been completely rebuilt.

The floors have been rebuilt but not finished out or recarpeted.  All new cushions need to be added to the salon.  But air conditioning of 26K Btu's has been added aft and in the salon, all new lighting, and all new (unused) electric heads have been added. 

The plumbing has been redesigned and built into a manifold system with a continuous pressure pump.  Three new fiberglass tanks for water were added during the refit.

For entertainment, a new flat screen TV with mast mounted antenna and new stereo system were built into the salon bulkhead as well.
