Roughwater

Designed for maximum fuel efficiency. Designed by the firm of Edwin Monk and Son, the Roughwater 58 is a rugged North Sea trawler type based on a hull successfully employed in a number of commercial tuna trawlers in operation. Roughwater Boats Inc. has turned it’s successful commercial fishing boat design into a spacious, long-distance cruising yacht. Engine burns 65 gallons per day cruising at 22 KM per gallon. Vessel carries her own fuel polishing system. “Swan Song” has a proven, unique system for creating a smoother ride at sea. Water is carried in a baffeled tank on top of bridge that acts as counter balance in situations that would normally cause the boat to rock more. Really simple and genius, allowing a more comfortable, stable, sea kindly ride at sea
