This Classic Palmer and Johnson Maxi yacht from the early 1980's is in need of a sympathetic new owner - maybe to compete on the classic circuit or a sail training organisation looking for a boat with racing potential.

This Classic Palmer and Johnson Maxi yacht was designed to eat the miles in long distance racing across the oceans of the world but will be a lot of fun around the race courses of the classics world.

She was converted to cruising 15 years ago with a complete re-fit of the interior to suit the corporate charter market. Her aluminium hull is light and stiff and the last time a new skin fitting was drilled a couple of years ago, she was still showing full thickness plating.

During a short period when the owners attention was focused elsewhere, she took some water in through the exhaust so was damp inside for a number of months. So there are 2 sets of photos from when she last looked great and now, where she is being worked on.

This Maxi yacht needs the TLC you would expect of a boat of this age but she has is fundamentally sound and will respond quickly to an injection of TLC and cash from her new owner.

She is now in need of a new owner with the vision and skill to turn her back into the stylish, fast cruising yacht for ocean crossings and world exploration or for classic racing around Europe or the USA.
