"Aventurine" is a rare Ed Monk designed sloop rigged motorsailer modeled on the lines of a classic troller. Built in 1984 in Taiwan by C & L Marine ( Makers of Ocean Alexander) to Lloyds of London specifications. Powered by an 85 hp Perkins  4-236 diesel. At 6.5 kts (1450 rpm) fuel consumption is 1.2 gal ph. A comfortable coastal cruiser that has gunkholed in the Puget Sound, British Columbia and SE Alaska.
