1985 Sunnfjord 42 Ah So

Ah So was commissioned in 1985 and purchased by her current owner in 1991 in San Francisco.  From there she headed north to Seattle making a steady eight knots.  The owner cruised the boat extensively in the Northwest and later South, ultimately to San Diego.  He states that he never had a moment that he regretted his choice of this passage-making vessel.  He is confident that her next owner will feel the same.

Entering through the salon and moving forward, down two steps to the guest stateroom there is an over/under bunk to starboard and an en suite head.  There is a seat, shelf, drawer and hanging locker to port.  Back up the two steps is the galley to port.  It features a double stainless sink, wine/liquor rack, three-burner stove with oven, full-size refrigerator with freezer and ample drawer and cabinet storage and counter space.  Up one step into the salon, the helm is to starboard and there is a couch, table, chairs, flat-screen television and a custom full-size chart rack.  Moving aft and down three steps is the master stateroom.  It features an island queen berth, en suite head with stall shower, outboard drawer storage as well as hanging lockers, a vanity table and shelf areas.  Additionally, there is a door leading to the cockpit on the port stern side.  Extensive use of wood joinery makes any part of this vessel interior a warm and friendly place to be.  For added comfort, there is a large sundeck and a bridge area seldom seen on this size vessel.
