Carver 466 Motoryacht

The PowerBoat Guide calls the Carver 466 a "spacious, well-bred cruising yacht targeting upscale buyers. Enormous full beam salon rivals many 55 footers in size. Floor plan is arranged with mid level galley with breakfast bar, walk-around island berths in master and VIP staterooms and two full heads. Hardtop and wing doors enclose spacious aft deck, and roomy flybridge can seat eight comfortably. Excellent fit and finish throughout."

This particular professionally maintained example is loaded, and looks LIKE NEW inside and out--gelcoat, interior, engine room, canvas, EVERYTHING!. Three stateroom version with the lower helm option plus fully enclosed aft deck and flybridge, very low time (less than 500 hours) on the bigger Volvo diesels, upgraded 13.5kW Onan genset, wireless Yacht Controller system and bow thruster allows her to be easily run and docked single- or short-handed. Hydraulic lift on stern for quick launch of 12' Caribe RIB with 30 hp Honda outboard.

VIP stateroom forward with enterline double, dual cedar lined hanging lockers, below-berth drawer storage and a private entry to the guest head which is shared with the third stateroom and also acts as the day head with companionway entry. The third stateroom is starboard  just aft of VIP and has twin bunks set perpendicularly.

Galley is port side across from guest stateroom and is beautifully done in black granite countertops, high end appliances and hardwood sole.

Up two steps aft to spacious full beam salon with lower helm and long built in settee starboard, centerline companionway up to aft deck and entertainment center, settee and breakfast bar starboard.

The Master stateroom is down aft with queen centerline berth, ample storage including cedar lined his and her hanging lockers and ensuite head with stall shower. Both heads have Vacuflush heads and stall showers with seating.

Up from salon to enclosed hardtop aft deck featuring a wetbar with refrigerator and acrylic wing doors to the side decks.  Up two steps to enclosed flybridge with built in U-shaped dinette/lounge with table and three swivel helm seats forward.  Two storage cabinets with solid surface countertops provide plenty of entertaining and stowage space, and forward on the bow is a sunpad with cushions.

As noted elsewhere, the boat shows as new--the owner's have never worn shoes down below, let alone cook in the galley! She's also beautifully decorated in rich fabrics including custom blinds and bedspreads with beige carpeting and matching ultraleather upholstery contrasting nicely with the flawless varnished cherry joinery and black granite counter tops. Reverse cycle heat/air throughout vessel (four separate zones).
