Century Custom Antique New Project

This is a project begun years ago, then mothballed. The Porsche factory calls a naked 911 prior to paint and completion, a "body in white". This is a vintage body in white. The accessories you see here were wrapped in 1982 newspapers, and stored in a vintage leather suitcase.
Many parts are brand new, from the late 50's and 60's. The vessel has never been completed or launched. She is mahogany planked and bronze fastened. She comes with all the accessories and fitments photographed. Many of these items are useful in completing the boat and many items are new or used vintage parts for your collection or for you to sell separately. Among the items pictured is a brand new vintage AC Delco INTERCEPTOR instrument cluster, still in the box, with appropriate sending units included. The chrome items you see are either bronze and chromed, or stainless steel.
The boat is copied from a vintage Century design (note brand new, never used Century and Coronado name plates). She is mahogany planked, bronze fastened, with sawn frames with all seams blocked and sealed. She is 19'8" long, and 6'8" wide. She has a sharp entry, flared bow, a crisp chine midships, and a flat entry, perfect for water sports. She comes as shown, with a shop dollyon wheels, but no trailer. She is in a location that allows for loading on to a flatbed transport with a fork lift.
Complete her as a closed bow, open cockpit boat, or a double cockpit vessel. She comes with a Ford Interceptor 289 ci engine, which came from a Chris Craft in the early 60's. The Chris Craft burned and was never used. Note the pulleys in the photo graphs of the engine. The paint was never even worn from the fan belts. THe engine has proper fully adjustable engine mounts, and the vessel has robust stringers already installed. The steering gear and shaft skeg are also installed.
She comes with:
Two 1" shafts, in a wooden case, the FORD INTERCEPTOR engine, the instrument cluster described above, two sets of transom guards (heavy cast pieces), a new 1956 stainless steel bow guard, several horse head lifting eyes, a compete tow hook/lifting eye assembly, fuel tank, exhaust cast tail pipes, several new burgee flag holders, two aerodynamically swept running light masts, another wing shaped burgee mast, a vintage (new) bilge pump with brass screen enclosure, several through-hull strained fittings, new steering ram and bracket, a Velvet Drive 1:1 transmission with coupling for the shaft, a stainless two piece center support for a two piece windshield, and a brand new one piece safety glass vintage windshield, 3 distributors (Mallory), 2 4bbl carbs with spark arrestor, a large assortment of new and used vintage CENTURY stainless-framed rubber foot pads, two vintage running light fixtures, and other spares as well.
The hull is a superb design, and very robust. Her stern is beautiful with plenty of tumble home on her aft quarters---not a barrel back, but very unique and beautiful. THe flare in her bow, ascending from her sharp entry is exaggerated and beautiful.
Accommodation for her forward deck is routed out and ready for decking.
Complete the boat and E-bay the rest, or complete your other projects. The asking price is appropriate for the Interceptor engine and Velvet Drive, without the accessories and the hull, but all you see here is included.
